"Information, research and news for the addiction treatment field since 1992 . Addiction Treatment Forum reports on substance abuse and addiction therapies, research, news, and events of interest to both healthcare professionals and patients with a focus on methadone maintenance for opoid-addiction treatment."

CEDRO

Centre for Drug Research (CEDRO)
"The Centre for Drug Research ceased to exist as an independent drug research institution per January 2004 and proceeded to finish ongoing projects and articles. Most of the CEDRO work (theoretical and epidemiological) is published on the CEDRO website. The CEDRO website also has many publications of which many translated to major languages on drug use careers, drug policy, and the politics of knowledge construction about drugs and its history. These articles are authored by former CEDRO staff or guest researchers, as by authors considered interesting. The website will remain maintained till at least 2007. Questions about visits or research opportunities will have to be turned down."

DrugAlert.org is a comprehensive database featuring information and news alerts about potentially dangerous drugs currently on the market or previously available worldwide. The Web site is dedicated to keeping the public informed about drug recalls, side effects, and pending litigation associated with various drugs and their manufacturers.

Drug and Alcohol Office
The Government of Western Australia Drug & Alcohol Office web site was formed in January 2002. It encompasses "Next Step Specialist Drug & Alcohol Services", "Western Australia Drug Abuse Strategy Office (WADASO)", and "Public Health Division: Alcohol & Other Drugs Program" web sites.

Drug Policy Alliance (Formerly the Lindesmith Center)
"The Drug Policy Alliance is a drug policy research institute. This site features a searchable database of thousands of library documents from both academic and popular literature focusing on drug policy from economic, criminal justice, and public health perspectives, and a subject index of full-text materials online. We also host an ongoing seminar series and send out mailings regarding upcoming events and publications via both e-mail and smail."

VIENNA

The Vienna Declaration
"The Vienna Declaration is a statement seeking to improve community health and safety by calling for the incorporation of scientific evidence into illicit drug policies. The declaration was drafted by a team of international experts and initiated by several of the world's leading HIV and drug policy scientific bodies: the International AIDS Society, the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS, and the International Centre for Science in Drug Policy (ICSDP). It was prepared through an extensive consultative process involving global leaders in medicine, public policy and public health. The declaration was the official declaration of the XVIII International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2010) held in Vienna, Austria."
